Enterprise Architect and Managing Partner

EACG – TrustSource

Architecture, security and open source software supply chains are the cornerstones of Jan’s current focus. As Managing Director of EACG GmbH, founded in 2006, he has helped many German companies to master their digitalisation challenges. Lessons from these projects can be found in his 2019 book on „Mastering Digital Transformation“. Due to his educational background (business, informatics and law)
he addressed key challenges in the open-source ecosystem with TrustSource, an innovative platform for software supply chain security, license and compliance management.
He started his career in London with the renowned PA Consulting Group. Later, he joined GFT Technologies AG in Stuttgart as Executive Assistant and later as Programme Manager, where he established the „Enterprise Integration and Architecture“ division.
Throughout his consulting career, he has supported numerous DAX 30 companies across industries such as financial services, retail, logistics, hospitality, and industrial and medical manufacturing.
Today, Jan Thielscher is dedicated to driving the future of software supply chain security through the continued development of TrustSource — a visionary platform that acts a one stop solution addressing the key challenges of the Cyber Resilience Act (CRA) and paves the way for a secure digital future.

EACG Mission Statement

The Enterprise Architecture Consulting Group (EACG) is a management consultancy focusing on the business value-oriented use of IT.

We see ourselves as a sparring partner for CEOs, CDOs and CIOs who want to position their organization for digital value creation.

Our expertise from more than 30 years of software development and architecture combined with the ongoing hands-on experience of our senior consultants allows us to convince at C-level as well as to quickly master technically critical situations. EACG consultants know what they are talking about.

The spectrum of assignments ranges from hourly consulting on individual topics and retainer-based support for complex projects to responsible interim or general contractor mandates.

EACG's clients include Deutsche Bahn, Deutsche Börse and Deutsche Bank as well as GEA and medium-sized companies such as DKV, Claas, Testo and Haufe-Lexware. Some of the most promising start-ups such as creditshelf or Slidepresenter also rely on EACG's architecture and AWS expertise.
